At First:
I started off as a life coach, helping women to transition to the life that lights them up, utilizing core values and emotional roadblock clearing. Just as I was starting to get my business rolling, my beloved husband received a scary diagnosis
And Then
That scary diagnosis derailed the start of my coaching business and started me down another path. My beloved was diagnosed with cancer, and it wasn't as straightforward as we initially thought. The treatment options had caveats, it was inoperable and the western medical system gave us little to no hope. We did a fundraiser to pay for nontoxic "alternative" treatment in Mexico. This was an amazing experience, with my love feeling better than he had in months. We were there for 3 weeks, it really was a wonder.
Within about 3 weeks of his return home, he had a very strong feeling he was being called Home. About 5 or 6 weeks later, he told me he didn't want to be here anymore. We were, and I am so grateful Colorado has a Medical Aid in Dying (MAiD) program. I thought it would be the most difficult thing I've ever experienced, and watching my beloved go through what he had been was worse. He also wanted me to spread the word about MAiD.
With all my experience with The Journey Method and similar work, we navigated this experience, we walked this path. From the moment Bodhi was complete, I knew helping others navigate this process was part of my path going forward, and here it is.
Now
I am passionate about, and strongly pulled to help people live more fully, freely and joyfully, with a minimum of regret.
